Frequently Asked Questions

What is BNLPLUS?

BNLPLUS is a Belgium-based sales management and marketplace management company helping businesses enter, manage and grow across European markets.

What services does BNLPLUS provide?

BNLPLUS provides two core services: Sales Management Outsourcing and Marketplace Account Management. These services can be used separately or combined within one European growth strategy.

What is Sales Management Outsourcing?

Sales Management Outsourcing allows your company to operate with a professionally managed European sales team without establishing separate offices or employing individual teams in every country.

BNLPLUS recruits, coordinates and manages the sales professionals assigned to your selected markets.

Who handles the sales team’s contracts and administration?

BNLPLUS handles recruitment, contracts, payroll and administrative coordination according to the agreed service model.

Your dedicated sales professionals operate as an extension of your company while being managed centrally by BNLPLUS.

What activities does the outsourced sales team perform?

Depending on the agreed scope, the sales team may:

  • Identify and contact potential customers

  • Present your company and products

  • Arrange and attend sales meetings

  • Follow up with prospects

  • Develop distributor and retail opportunities

  • Support commercial negotiations

  • Maintain sales records and activity reports

  • Build long-term customer relationships

Which European markets can you cover?

Sales coverage can be arranged across Benelux, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland, depending on the selected service package, target market and team requirements.

Can we begin with one country?

Yes. You can begin with one market and expand into additional countries as your sales activity and business requirements grow.

Who approves prices and commercial conditions?

The client determines the approved prices, payment terms, discounts and commercial conditions.

The BNLPLUS sales team operates within these approved parameters unless additional decision-making authority has been agreed in writing.

What is Marketplace Account Management?

Marketplace Account Management is the professional management of your company’s marketplace accounts, product listings, advertising, performance and daily operations.

BNLPLUS manages the operational workload so your company can focus on products, inventory and overall business growth.

What does Marketplace Account Management include?

Depending on your service package, marketplace management may include:

  • Account setup and onboarding

  • Product listing creation and localisation

  • SEO-focused content optimisation

  • Pricing and promotion coordination

  • Advertising and PPC management

  • Account health monitoring

  • Compliance support

  • Sales and performance analysis

  • Regular reporting

  • Expansion into additional marketplaces

Can you manage our existing marketplace accounts?

Yes. BNLPLUS can audit, optimise and manage your existing accounts or support the setup of new accounts in eligible European marketplaces.

Who owns the marketplace accounts and sales data?

Marketplace accounts, brand assets and sales data remain the property of the client unless a different operating model is specifically agreed in writing.

Marketplace payouts are deposited directly into the bank account registered to the client’s marketplace account.

Are advertising budgets included in the service fee?

Advertising budgets, marketplace commissions and other third-party costs are separate from the BNLPLUS management fee unless specifically included in your proposal.

Advertising expenditure is planned and managed according to the budget approved by the client.

Do we need a European company or VAT number?

Requirements depend on your business structure, products, fulfilment model, target countries and selected marketplaces.

BNLPLUS can help coordinate the onboarding process, but the client remains responsible for obtaining the required registrations, tax numbers and legal authorisations.

Who is responsible for product compliance?

The client is responsible for ensuring that its products, labels, documentation and certifications comply with applicable European and national regulations.

BNLPLUS provides operational compliance support but does not replace the manufacturer, importer, authorised representative or legal adviser unless separately agreed.

What information is required to get started?

The onboarding process normally requires:

  • Company registration information

  • Product catalogue and price lists

  • Product images and brand materials

  • Technical and regulatory documentation

  • Stock and fulfilment information

  • Target countries and customer profiles

  • Access to relevant marketplace accounts

  • Approved commercial conditions

Additional information may be required depending on the product category and selected markets.

How long does onboarding take?

Marketplace onboarding can generally begin once all required documents, approvals and account access have been provided.

The deployment time for an outsourced sales team depends on the number of countries, required languages, recruitment process and agreed team structure.

A detailed implementation schedule is provided with each proposal.

How will we monitor performance?

Clients receive regular activity and performance reports covering relevant sales activities, marketplace results, advertising performance, opportunities and recommended actions.

Reporting frequency and performance indicators are defined during onboarding.

Do you guarantee sales results?

BNLPLUS provides professional sales execution, account management and continuous optimisation. However, specific sales results cannot be guaranteed because performance is influenced by product demand, pricing, competition, stock availability, advertising budgets and market conditions.

Commercial objectives and measurable performance indicators are agreed at the beginning of the engagement.

How much do BNLPLUS services cost?

Pricing is tailored to the required service scope.

The proposal is based on factors such as the number of target countries, sales professionals, marketplace accounts, active products and overall operational workload.

Can we combine both services?

Yes. Sales Management Outsourcing and Marketplace Account Management can operate together under one coordinated European sales strategy.

This allows your company to develop B2B customer relationships while also building and managing its online marketplace presence.

Can the service be expanded later?

Yes. Additional countries, sales professionals, marketplaces and product ranges can be added as your business grows, subject to operational availability and an updated agreement.
